Aunt Annie's Favorite Recipe for Pumpkin Bread
* Preheat oven 350 degrees
* grease and flour pan(s)
Dry Ingredients -
mix dry ingredients together
- 3 Cups Sugar
- 3.5 Cups Flour
- 1 teaspoon Cinnamon (I double or triple this part because I love Cinnamon)
- 1 teaspoon Nutmeg
- 2 teaspoons Baking Soda
Wet Ingredients -
Add these to the dry ingredients
- 1 Cup Oil
- 2/3 Cup water
- 4 Eggs - beaten together
- 2 Cups canned pumpkin
- Optional: 1 cup chopped nuts or raisins
( I like golden raisins and sometimes I use cranraisins instead of nuts )
Directions
Preheat Oven to 350 degrees

** bake about 1 hour if using a 9 by 13 cake pan
** bake about 30 to 45 minutes if using three loaf pans
